Tom Hanks, one the most loved movie stars on the planet, has sold his Pacific Palisades home for $5.225 million. The four-bedroom, Spanish Style abode comes with 5.5 baths, private beautiy salon, a library, guest room and a loggia.

More pictures of the amazing property can be found here.
Is a split behind the sale? Thankfully not. The couple (who are as adorable affectionate as always) own a few other properties including a beachfront Malibu Colony they've owned since the 1990s and recently purchased a larger property nearby for a cool $26 million.
To give you the warm and tinglies, here's his 1995 Oscars acceptance speech in which he shows why we love him so much and just how adorable he and Rita are as: a couple.

There are two big movies opening this weekend!
This is the End (opened on Wednesday)
The title says it all. Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson play heightened versions of themselves in this end-of-the-world flick which features cameos from the likes of Rihanna, Michael Cera, Mindy Kaling, Emma Watson and an unforgettable performance from Channing Tatum. Though the movie is hilarious it's definitely not for kids as it features some graphic violence and swearing but adults will LOVE this hilarious take on the end of the world.
